TUI Hotels & Resorts has made a strong start to the summer expanding its global portfolio with seven hotel new openings across Europe, Asia and the Caribbean.

From premium beachfront resorts in the Mediterranean to leisure hotels in culturally rich urban destinations, the latest additions reflect the diversity of the Group’s brands and its continued focus on experience led hospitality.

The next opening is scheduled for August, when TUI Blue Han River in Vietnam will join the portfolio.

The hotel features 125 rooms and offers an all-day dining restaurant, a rooftop restaurant as well as a bar with a panoramic view over the iconic Han River.

Several promising new projects are also underway, including Riu Palace Phuket, marking the brand’s debut in Thailand and The Mora Singapore, the brand’s first hotel in Asia.

At the same time, TUI Suneo which offers excellent value for money continues to expand globally.

TUI Hotels & Resorts announces eight upcoming hotels for its brand TUI Suneo. Opening this summer, TUI Suneo Danang in Vietnam will join the portfolio.

In Cambodia, TUI Suneo will celebrate its debut in 2026 with the opening of TUI Suneo Olympia Phnom Penh.

The brand will also be introduced in Malaysia for the first time: TUI Suneo Mont Kiara and TUI Suneo Langkawi are scheduled to open its doors in 2027.

At the same time, the brand continues to grow in China, where the 250-room TUI Suneo Qinzhou will open in summer 2027.

Europe is also contributing to the brand’s expansion, with new projects signed for TUI Suneo Compass in Varna, Bulgaria, TUI Suneo Torre de Sevilla in Spain and TUI Suneo Side in Türkiye, all planned to open in 2027.

Guests worldwide can already choose from more than 460 TUI Hotels & Resorts, all of which stand for quality, hospitality and unique holiday experiences.

Akra Didim Resort & Spa in Türkiye, opened on 1 April 2026: Akra Didim Resort & Spa joined TUI Group’s portfolio in April 2026, welcoming guests year-round to Türkiye’s Aegean coast.

Located in Didim, the 359-room resort combines culinary excellence, wellness, and sport, with facilities including tennis, padel and pickleball, as well as the Sarnıç Spa & Wellness Centre offering traditional and modern therapies.

Sustainability has been embedded from the start. A circular construction approach saw around 260,000 m³ of materials reused on site. During development, approximately 4,500 trees were carefully relocated, with around 4,300 replanted after completion. Further measures include a 1.4 MWp solar PV system and heat pump technology to support heating, cooling and hot water with low energy use.

Ocean House Costa del Sol by Grupotel, opened April 2026: Ocean House Costa del Sol by Grupotel is situated on the fine-sandy Playa de la Carihuela in Torremolinos and features 373 modern suites.

Guests staying in the premium rooms have access to the panoramic roof terrace with an exclusive bar and pool.

In the buffet restaurant, holidaymakers can enjoy international dishes made mainly from seasonal and regional produce, whilst the restaurant ‘Oh Beach’ serves Andalusian specialities.

TUI Blue Yaramar in Spain, opened on 1 May 2026: TUI Blue Yaramar in Spain joined the Group’s portfolio in May 2026 as an adults‑only hotel with 224 rooms, located directly on Fuengirola’s beachfront promenade on the Costa del Sol.

The newly refurbished property features an ocean‑view pool, two restaurants and three bars, a gym with group fitness classes, and a diverse entertainment programme including live music and themed evenings.

TUI Blue Paro Taktsang in Bhutan, opened on 16 May 2026: TUI Blue Paro Taktsang marks TUI Hotels & Resorts’ entry into Bhutan, aligning with the Group’s experience‑led and sustainability‑focused hospitality strategy.

Inspired by traditional Bhutanese architecture, the upscale resort in Paro offers 34 Junior Suites and Suites, wellness facilities, curated TUI Blue Experiences and regional dining, while supporting responsible tourism close to key cultural landmarks such as Tiger’s Nest Monastery.

Royalton Vessence Barbados, opened on 1 June 2026: This beachfront, newly built all-inclusive resort features 220 modern suites along the island’s renowned Platinum Coast, designed for discerning travelers seeking a more mindful, culturally inspired escape.

Guests can enjoy a curated selection of dining and bar experiences, including specialty restaurants, rooftop venues, a café and pastry shop, alongside The Royal Spa, Moddo Fitness by Royalton FIT, multiple pools, and thoughtfully designed spaces that reflect the creativity, culture, and rhythm of Barbados.

TUI Blue Maviss in Türkiye opened on 12 June 2026: TUI Blue Maviss is a newly built resort with 505 rooms, located on Türkiye’s southern Mediterranean coast in Belek, a destination known for its natural beauty and cultural heritage.

Designed with families in mind, the hotel features three à la carte restaurants, swim‑up rooms, a TUI Kids Club, and direct access to wide beaches and nearby thermal bath experiences.

TUI Blue Yangtze Shanghai, opened on 15 June 2026: Located in Shanghai, this hotel offers a premium location in a historic building near People’s Square and popular attractions like Nanjing Pedestrian Road and Yuyuan Garden.

The hotel has 103 rooms offering various room types and has two restaurants serving Cantonese, local Shanghainese and Japanese cuisine.
