Now launching the maiden edition of the largest gathering of hospitality and tourism educators and professionals having hosted Build African Hospitality and Tourism Education Show for years.

Tourism Afrikania set to host African Hospitality and Tourism Education Summit (AHTES) with the theme ‘Catalyzing Growth: Empowering Business Solutions through Hospitality and Tourism Education in Africa’ is set to hold 26th and 27th July, 2024 at Landmark Event Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria.

This was disclosed in a press release signed by the Convener of African Hospitality and Tourism Education Summit (AHTES) and Founder, Afrikania Tourism, Mr. Mike Chimezie.

AHTES 2024 is the gathering of scholars, industry experts, enthusiasts, students, hotels, travel and tourism companies, airlines, culinary schools, aviation schools and B2B entities, in the ever-evolving hospitality space.

Chimezie said the primary objective of AHTES is to drive business solutions in Africa through hospitality and tourism education.

The key focus areas of AHTES 2024 will be on Educational Empowerment; Industry Integration; Innovative Strategies; Global Perspectives and Entrepreneurial Mindset.

Among the visionaries at the forefront of hospitality and tourism industry lined up as speakers and panelists are Head, Tourism and Hospitality Department, University of Abuja, Mr. Adedayo Adesugba; Faculty Member, Rome Business School, Emmanuel Uzoma Ele; Founder, Afrikan Young Indigenous Leaders, Princess Dr. Nikiwe Bam; President, Hospitality and Tourism Management Association of Nigeria (HATMAN), Mr. Samson Aturu.
