The Africa-Europe Tourism Exchange Forum (AETEF) 2025 is scheduled to take place from May 15 -16 at The Hive Hotel in Rome, Italy.
The forum aims to deepen collaboration and foster sustainable tourism development between Africa and Europe under the theme “Bridging Africa and Europe through tourism exchanges”.
Organised by Globe Trotters Limited and Kalo Africa Media, in partnership with the African Tourism Board and other collaborators, AETEF 2025 will serve as a premier platform for dialogue, partnerships and cultural exchange between stakeholders from both continents.
The main objectives of the forum include: Promoting cross-continental partnerships and investment opportunities in tourism; Facilitating business-to-business networking and knowledge sharing; Showcasing the diverse cultural heritage of Africa and Europe through exhibitions and cultural displays; Addressing challenges and opportunities in tourism collaboration through expert-led plenary discussions; Recognising individuals and organisations excellence in tourism initiatives at the Gala and Awards Night.
The event will feature a range of activities including high-level conferences, in-depth panel discussions, exhibitions of tourism products and destinations, cultural showcases and guided tours of Rome and other parts of Italy.
The Africa-Europe Tourism Exchange Forum aims to create a dynamic platform that brings together key stakeholders from the tourism sectors of Africa and Europe.
The organisers disclosed that the forum will provide an invaluable opportunity to exchange ideas, foster partnerships, and explore opportunities for collaboration in the ever-evolving global tourism industry.
The conveners disclosed further that as Africa’s tourism sector continues to grow and Europe remains a key market and partner, the forum will focus on creating synergies that benefit both regions.
