Radisson Hotel Group is pleased to welcome Green Hotel, a member of Radisson Individuals into its growing portfolio of the Radisson Individuals family. Located in Kinross, Perthshire, this historic property, set amid the natural beauty of the Scottish countryside, is full of character and offers guests an exceptional golfing experience.

The hotel combines a rich blend of recreation, history, and hospitality within 5,000 acres of stunning scenery. Originally an 18th-century coaching house, Green Hotel, a member of Radisson Individuals, features 46 guest rooms, with plans to expand by an additional 14 rooms by 2027 and a considered program of enhancements across guest bedrooms and public areas, designed to elevate the experience while retaining its traditional charm.

Joep Peeters, Chief Operating Officer Franchise EMEA at Radisson Hotel Group said “We are delighted to welcome Green Hotel into the Radisson Individuals family, it is rich in heritage with historic charm and a distinctive character housed in an idyllic Scottish setting. The hotel is an exciting addition to our portfolio and reinforces our commitment to providing guests with exceptional experiences in some of the world’s most rewarding destinations.”

The hotel offers guests direct access to two 18-hole golf courses: The Montgomery course with its picturesque views, particularly on the 15th and 16th holes, and The Bruce course, designed to challenge lower handicap golfers, featuring 4 par 5s on the front 9th and an 18th hold recommended for long drive.

Guests can also enjoy dining with tranquil courtyard views in the contemporary 1567 Restaurant or enjoy a traditional menu in Jock’s Bar, which also serves the hotel’s very own Loch Leven gin and local ales. The rustic surroundings of the hotel make it a popular choice for weddings, while its three meeting rooms can accommodate up to 80 people for business or social gatherings.

Commenting on the announcement, Dean Charalambous of Artemis Hotels Management said: “Green Hotel has always been defined by its heritage, warmth and its position at the heart of a remarkable part of Scotland. This evolution allows us to share that story with a wider audience through Radisson Individuals, while remaining firmly rooted in traditional Scottish hospitality. It is a natural progression for the property, not a reinvention.”

Whilst just 30 minutes’ drive from Perth, and 50 minutes from Edinburgh, Kinross sits at the heart of one of Scotland’s most beautiful landscapes; just across the waters of Loch Leven stands the ruined castle where Mary Queen of Scots was famously held captive in the 16th century.

Andre Kontou, General Manager of Green Hotel, a member of Radisson Individuals, added: “Joining Radisson Individuals is a significant milestone for the hotel. We are incredibly proud of our heritage and our place within the Kinross community, and this next chapter allows us to enhance our bedrooms and public spaces while staying true to the traditional Scottish hospitality our guests value. With close proximity to Edinburgh Airport, strong transport links and our on-site golf courses, we are ideally positioned to welcome both business and leisure guests.”

Other attractions close-by include Tay Forest National Park, The Hermitage (National Trust Forest), Scone Palace, and The Glenturret Distillery – Scotland’s oldest working distillery.
