The Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC), Bishop Prof Stephen Adegbite, has extended warm Eid-el-Fitri greetings to the Muslim faithful.
In his Sallah message released on 19th March, 2026, Bishop Adegbite congratulated Muslims for a successful Ramadan fast and urged them to be their brother’s keeper.
The NCPC Helmsman emphasised that the Ramadan fast was a spiritual exercise meant to draw them nearer to God, and the gains of fasting should enable them to live better lives in society.
The NCPC Boss admonished Muslims to embrace dialogue against confrontation and celebrate with moderation, considering those who may not have the means to celebrate.
He urged them to continually uphold President Bola Tinubu in prayer and pray for the peaceful conduct of the 2027 general election.
Bishop Adegbite also called on Muslim clerics to intercede for Nigeria in their prayers, especially during this Eid-el-Fitri period.
He appealed to all Nigerians to join hands with the Federal Government to fight banditry, insurgency, and terrorism, assuring that Nigeria will be great again with collective effort.
