As preparation hots up for the Ogun State Chapter Tourism Roundtable, Induction Ceremony, Inauguration of Chapter Executives, and Tourism Walk, Hon. (Dr.) Abolaji Kelani, FITPN has received the official nod and endorsement from the national leadership of the Institute for Tourism Professionals of Nigeria (ITPN).
Dr. Kelani held a strategic meeting with the National President of the Institute, Chief Abiodun Odusanwo, and the Registrar, Dr. Famogbiyele Taiwo, PhD, FITPN, FHTI, along with other distinguished officials of the Institute On Wednesday, 15th May 2025.
The meeting was convened to seek formal consent and institutional backing for the forthcoming Tourism Roundtable holding in Abeokuta on 10 – 11 June, 2025.
In his remarks, Chief Abiodun Odusanwo FITPN commended Dr. Kelani and his team for their proactive and visionary approach towards promoting tourism development in Ogun State.
The ITPN National President assured the Ogun State Chapter of the national body’s full support and reaffirmed the Institute’s commitment to the success of the programme.
The Registrar, Dr. Famogbiyele Taiwo, also expressed his satisfaction with the initiative, describing it as a laudable step in the right direction.

Also in attendance at the meeting was the Coordinator, ITPN FCT Chapter, Dr. Fatimah Obadaki.
