ICCA has concluded its presence at IMEX Frankfurt, highlighting ongoing work in research, technology and collaboration to support the global business events community.
Throughout the week, ICCA engaged with members and industry stakeholders to share updates on its latest initiatives, including new technology solutions, major research publications and collaborative developments across the meetings ecosystem.
A key focus was ICCA Technology, with the presentation of ICCA Business Intelligence Pro, an integrated intelligence suite developed exclusively for ICCA members. The platform brings together structured datasets and analytical tools designed to support evidence‑based decision‑making for destinations and organisations operating in the global meetings market. The solution combines bid intelligence, strategic diagnostics and expanded visibility of association activity, drawing on ICCA’s long‑standing data resources.
ICCA also highlighted the formation of the EEEIA, reflecting a shared commitment across the industry to stronger collaboration, alignment and collective progress within the events ecosystem.
Research remained a central focus. ICCA showcased the latest edition of ICCA GlobeWatch: Business Analytics – Country & City Rankings, analysing data from 12,438 international association meetings worldwide. The Rankings continue to serve as the leading global reference point for association meetings, offering structured insight into international meeting activity by country, city, region and sector.
ICCA CEO Dr. Senthil Gopinath said: “Our role is to equip the global meetings industry with reliable intelligence and long‑term perspective. Through our research and technology initiatives, ICCA continues to support members and stakeholders in understanding where meetings take place and how they contribute to economic, social and institutional objectives.”
As IMEX Frankfurt concluded, ICCA reaffirmed its commitment to serving as the global community for the business events industry, supporting its members through authoritative research, trusted data and member‑focused innovation.
