Hotel d’Inghilterra Roma – Starhotels Collezione celebrates Vespa’s 80th anniversary with a special initiative that begins at the hotel and unfolds across the city.

Introducing The Vespa Grand Suite Experience, an itinerary through the places, personalities and moods that created — and continue to cultivate — Rome’s myth around the world.

At the heart of the project is a bespoke itinerary that explores the places, personalities and atmosphere that have shaped Rome’s enduring mythology.

Designed as a journey through cinema, literature and the spirit of the Grand Tour, the experience invites guests to discover the Eternal City from a new perspective.

Lasting approximately three hours, the itinerary begins at Hotel d’Inghilterra and includes ten iconic Roman landmarks.

From Spanish Steps, the Trevi Fountain and the Colosseum to the Pantheon, Castel Sant’Angelo and Via Margutta, the route evokes the city’s timeless appeal and the legacy of the many illustrious guests who have stayed at the hotel over the years, from Oscar Wilde to Ernest Hemingway, Mark Twain, Elizabeth Taylor, Audrey Hepburn and Gregory Peck.

Each stop becomes part of an immersive narrative, turning the tour into a journey to be experienced on two wheels through some of Rome’s most celebrated streets and settings.

Terrazza Romana — the hotel’s rooftop cocktail bar, recently reopened for the season — celebrates this anniversary with three signature drinks inspired by the Vespa universe and Roman summer.

Among the new special cocktails, the Vespa Martini reinterprets the classic Vesper Martini with a fragrant limoncello accent. Vacanze Romane pairs gin, bergamot rosolio and rosemary syrup in a refined, citrus-forward blend created to pay tribute to the cinematic classic and to two of the hotel’s illustrious guests, Audrey Hepburn and Gregory Peck.

Rounding out the selection is 50 Special, a fresh, aromatic mocktail with cranberry, pineapple, coconut and lemon: a tribute to the engine that made the scooter legendary.

On 23 June, during the week of Rome Vespa Days, Hotel d’Inghilterra’s terrace will host a special edition of its weekly Golden Vibes evening.

The event will pay tribute to Vespa’s iconic style and the timeless elegance of La Dolce Vita. Guests are invited to wear a foulard or ascot as a nod to the spirit of classic Italian sophistication.

The evening will feature a live DJ set by Melanie Estella, signature cocktails and seasonal gourmet bites by Executive Chef Andrea Sangiuliano.

A symbol of Italian craftsmanship, Vespa has embodied creativity, style and freedom for more than eighty years.

These same values are deeply reflected in the identity of Hotel d’Inghilterra, a symbol of timeless Roman elegance and hospitality that continues to interpret the authentic appeal of Made in Italy.

The Vespa Grand Suite Experience package, available for stays until 30 June, includes:
Suite accommodation with breakfast for two; Welcome cocktail on the scenic Terrazza Romana; An exclusive Vespa tour with local guides; Themed amenities and One-way airport transfer.
