For years, Hospitality Awards Africa has cemented its position as one of the continent’s premier platforms for celebrating excellence, leadership, and innovation in the hospitality and tourism industry, recognising the hoteliers, restaurateurs, tourism professionals, and industry trailblazers driving Africa’s hospitality sector forward.

What began in Ghana, where the awards were successfully held for six consecutive years, took a significant step onto the regional stage in 2025, expanding to Lomé, Togo, where the prestigious Hotel 2 Février hosted the landmark edition.

The milestone event reaffirmed a bold and enduring vision: Hospitality Awards Africa is more than an awards platform—it is a truly Pan-African movement celebrating the people and businesses shaping the continent’s hospitality and tourism landscape.

In 2026, the Hospitality Awards Africa journey continues to Lagos, Nigeria—Africa’s economic powerhouse, a global business hub, and one of the continent’s most vibrant and fast-growing hospitality and tourism markets.

The 2026 edition will take place on 24 October 2026 at the Sheraton Lagos Hotel in Ikeja, Nigeria, under the theme: “Recognizing Excellence. Celebrating Achievement. Inspiring the Future.”

This is more than an awards ceremony. It is a prestigious gathering of Africa’s hospitality leaders, hoteliers, tourism authorities, industry professionals, investors, and changemakers, united to celebrate excellence, build meaningful partnerships, exchange ideas, and help shape the future of African hospitality.

Speaking ahead of the event, organiser and Executive Director, Ninety Degrees, Eugene Vidzro said, “If you have never experienced Hospitality Awards Africa, 2026 is the year to be part of it. Come for the recognition. Stay for the connections. Leave inspired to shape what’s next.”
