The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for Ibadan North West/South West Federal Constituency, Hon. Samson Opeyemi Fatola, has inaugurated members of his Campaign Council ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The inauguration, held on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at the PDP Secretariat, Molete, Ibadan, brought together members of the campaign team, including the Director-General and other key officials.
The newly inaugurated officials are expected to coordinate campaign activities, mobilise supporters, strengthen grassroots engagement and promote Fatola’s political agenda across the constituency.
The inauguration marks a significant step towards building an effective campaign structure and preparing for the 2027 general election.
The following individuals were inaugurated into various positions within the campaign organisation:

7. Director of Organisation and Mobilisation (Ibadan South West): Mr Yekeen Akeem
8. Director of Organisation and Mobilisation: Mr Rahman Omitokun
9. Director-General of Protocol: Samson Balogun
10. Director of Media and Publicity I: Mr Ibrahim Bamidele
11. Director of Media and Publicity II: Temilade Aloko
12. Director of Finance and Funding: Ms Rosemary Akinlade
13. Director of Security and Intelligence: Mr Sulaimon Oyelami Oyetola

With the inauguration of the campaign leadership and its various coordinators, the organisation is expected to commence strategic preparations towards the 2027 general elections, with a focus on grassroots mobilisation, effective communication and constituency-wide engagement.
