Exhibition World Bahrain (EWB) has been named “Best Venue More Than 10,000 sqm” at the Middle East Event Awards 2026, further cementing its position as one of the region’s leading destinations for exhibitions, conferences, conventions, and major events.
The prestigious award was announced during the Middle East Event Awards ceremony, held on 20 August at Madinat Jumeirah, Dubai, on the sidelines of the Middle East Event Show, bringing together leading professionals, organisations, and venues from across the Middle East’s business events and live events industry.
EWB secured the award following a highly competitive selection process, emerging as the winner ahead of leading regional venues including ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi, Beyon Al Dana Amphitheatre, Dubai World Trade Centre, and Etihad Arena.
The award was received on behalf of EWB by Huda Al Shamlan, Director of Marketing, Communications and Partnerships at EWB, and Ali Hasan, Senior Business Development Manager – New Exhibitions at EWB.
On this occasion, HE Sara Ahmed Buhiji, CEO of Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA) and Chairperson of Exhibition World Bahrain, stated: “Winning the (Best Venue More Than 10,000 sqm) award at the Middle East Event Awards is a tremendous achievement for EWB and a proud moment for us. The Middle East’s Event Awards are among the region’s prominent recognitions for excellence across the events industry, celebrating outstanding achievements by venues, organisers, agencies, suppliers, and event professionals.
The latest accolade adds to EWB’s growing collection of international and regional industry recognition, including being named “World’s Leading New Exhibition and Convention Centre 2023”, “Middle East’s Leading Large-Scale Wedding Venue 2024”, “World’s Leading Large-Scale Wedding Venue 2025”, “World’s Best MICE Event Venue 2025”, “Middle East’s Best MICE Event Venue 2025”, “Bahrain’s Best Convention Centre 2025”.
