Three outstanding mentees of the Youth Tourism and Hospitality Leaders Forum (YTHLF), Deborah Olukayode, Tosin Akinboade and Olumide Olatunji, have been nominated for the YTHLF Ambassador Awards 2026.
The three young professionals will be celebrated during the 14th edition of the Youth Tourism and Hospitality Leaders Forum (YTHLF) scheduled to hold on Thursday, October 29, 2026, in Ibadan, Oyo State.
This was disclosed in a statement issued by the Convener of YTHLF, Omololu Olumuyiwa.
According to the YTHLF organiser, the nominees are being recognised for their commitment, dedication and contributions to the development of the travel, tourism, hospitality and aviation industry.
They are described as worthy recipients of the awards because they have been mentored through YTHLF since their undergraduate days, remaining committed to the ideals of the forum while progressively building successful careers in their respective fields.
The YTHLF Ambassador Awards are designed to celebrate young industry professionals who have demonstrated the values of leadership, perseverance, passion and excellence promoted by the forum.
The three nominees have, over the years, continued to make their mark in the travel, hospitality and aviation sectors, serving as examples of how purposeful mentorship and commitment can help prepare young people for meaningful careers in the tourism and allied industries.
The 14th YTHLF, which brings together young and established professionals in the travel, tourism, hospitality and aviation sectors, is expected to provide another platform for networking, knowledge sharing, mentorship and recognition of outstanding industry practitioners.
Olumuyiwa further disclosed that from their early days as young students with dreams and aspirations, the three have evolved into promising professionals, making meaningful contributions across the industry while proudly carrying the YTHLF spirit wherever they go.
He noted that their journey demonstrates how effective mentorship, consistency, dedication and the right platform can nurture young talents and help shape the next generation of leaders in the travel, tourism, hospitality and aviation industry.
The YTHLF Ambassador Awards 2026 will form part of the highlights of the October 29 event in Ibadan.
