The Centre for Black and African Arts and Civilization (CBAAC) will be holding her Annual International Conference on Thursday, 11th and Friday, 12th January, 2024.
The conference with the theme “Arts, Culture and the development of African creative economy“ will be taking place at Testimony Place, Plot 5 Akiogun Road, Oniru, Lekki, Lagos.
Speaking at the conference is the notable scholar, former Deputy Vice Chancellor, University of Lagos, Prof. Duro Oni.
This pivotal occasion will bring together culture, arts and creative industry stakeholders and professionals to brainstorm in view of adopting a framework for arts and culture development in Nigeria and Africa at large.
The Director General, Centre for Black and African Arts and Civilization (CBAAC), Hon. Olubunmi Amao has continued to champion the promotion of African culture by fulfilling the mandate of preserving, presenting and propagating the African culture in its entirety as well as restoring Africa’s rich cultural heritage.
It is noteworthy that CBAAC is truly achieving its mission of promoting public interest in understanding and appreciation of the Black and African Art and Culture with a view of emphasizing the contribution of Black and African people to world civilization.
