The newly elected President of the Nigeria Association of Tour Operators (NATOP), Hajia Bolaji Mustapha led some members of her executives  on a courtesy visit to the office of the Director General of the National Council for Arts and Culture (NCAC), Mr. Obi Asika on Monday, 29th July, 2024.

Among the executives who accompanied the NATOP president on the courtesy visit are the Deputy President, Ms. Geraldine Itoe,  National PRO, Mr. Onyenka Okwudiri and the Financial Secretary, Ms. Ogugua Anobili.

The meeting aimed to foster discussions in areas of mutual interest and explore potential collaborations between the Agency and the Association.

The visit provided an opportunity for both parties to discuss how NATOP can work together with NCAC to promote Nigeria’s rich cultural heritage and boost the tourism sector.

Emphasis was placed on leveraging the strengths of both organizations to create synergies that would benefit the industry and enhance Nigeria’s global cultural and tourism footprint.

The NATOP president expressed optimism about the potential outcomes of the collaboration, noting that joint efforts could lead to significant advancements in promoting Nigerian arts and culture to a broader audience.

The Director General of NCAC, Mr. Obi Asika welcomed the initiative and reiterated the NCAC’s commitment to supporting and partnering with key stakeholders in the tourism industry.
