The Kingdom of Bahrain, represented by Exhibition World Bahrain (EWB) and the Bahrain Dental Society (BDS), has won the bid to host the prestigious FDI World Dental Congress in 2028, marking another significant milestone for Bahrain’s growing position as a destination for major international congresses and professional events.
The successful bid will bring the global dental community to Bahrain for the flagship annual congress of the FDI World Dental Federation (FDI), the principal representative body for more than one million dentists worldwide.
The Congress provides a global platform for advancing the science and practice of dentistry, strengthening professional ties and fostering collaboration across the international oral health community.
The successful bid was led jointly by Exhibition World Bahrain and the Bahrain Dental Society, reflecting the strength of collaboration between Bahrain’s professional dental community and its world-class business-events infrastructure.
The partnership demonstrates Bahrain’s ability to combine specialised local expertise with the capabilities of its award-winning national exhibition and convention venue to attract major international events to the Kingdom.
