Africa Tourism Partners (ATP), the organisers of Africa Business Tourism and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions) Masterclass (ABTMM) have announced that the 7th and 2024 edition of the Pan-African MICE/ Business Tourism Capacity Development and Continuing Professional Development Masterclass will take place on 16 and 17 July 2024 at BDO Offices, Wanderers Office Park, 52 Corlett Dr, Illovo, Johannesburg, South Africa.

Held annually in collaboration with BDO South Africa and a number of Industry Partners including but not limited University of South Africa, SAACI, South African Tourism, SITE Africa and more, this year’s programme will feature expert and insightful presentations, interactive panel sessions and deep dives into industry-critical topics, while offering professional development, industry insights, networking and sales opportunities for all.

Delivered by Africa Tourism Partners with a number of renowned global experts, top decision-makers and professionals, the programme offers Continuing Professional Development and Capacity Development Opportunities for personnel and officials across conference and exhibition venues, hotels, hospitality entities, professional conference organisations, professional events organisations, Government Officials (National, Provisional and Municipalities), educators and students.

The Masterclass has connected over 1200 African industry professionals, practitioners, youth, SMMEs and Convention Bureaux as well as National Tourism officials to learn, share experiences, knowledge and expanded their networks.

It will therefore build on the success of the 2018 to 2023 editions and continue to connect industry stakeholder to build valuable relationships, and expand their network, while learning directly from the global and renowned MICE and tourism experts.

Among the critical learning areas are insights on new business generation, business sustainability, bidding in MICE, professional development and more.
