The Tourism Business Council of South Africa (TBCSA) is organising the annual TBCSA Tourism Leadership Conference, which will take place from 6-8 September, 2023.
Coinciding with tourism month and the beginning of spring, the conference will be held under the theme “Tourism: The Engine of Growth”. The theme of the conference has been chosen to highlight the role of tourism for the South African economy.
The conference will be an open forum for discussion on the opportunities and challenges facing the tourism sector. The solutions required for South Africa’ tourism sector to continue being sustainable and competitive will also be discussed.
The annual TBCSA Tourism Leadership Conference brings together tourism industry professionals and leading experts to connect, learn, share, and collaborate on various topical industry related issues.
The Conference speakers will share innovative, salient thought leadership, and industry-related guidance during plenary and breakaway sessions. As the private sector, public sector, academia, and media, will come together to share knowledge and focus on how to help South Africa achieve its goal of 21 million arrivals by 2030.
Registration for participation at this year’s conference will be R990.00. This includes entrance to the conference, all meals, and entertainment.

The annual TBCSA Tourism Leadership Conference is expected to attract over 400 delegates.
