
Ali Al-Daylami
Bahraini producer Ali Al-Daylami, based in New York, amongst the team that won a Tony Award for his role as a producer of the Broadway musical Maybe Happy Ending.
With this historic win, Al-Daylami becomes the first Bahraini and Gulf national to receive this prestigious honour, considered the highest accolade in global theatre.
Prior to his success in theatre production, Al-Daylami held leadership roles at Bahrain’s Economic Development Board from 2007 to 2018.
He later pursued a Master of Fine Arts degree from Columbia University before transitioning into theatrical production.
Among his notable works are producing the musical Umm Kulthum & The Golden Era in London’s West End, as well as contributing to acclaimed Broadway productions such as Wicked and The Heart of Rock and Roll.
