The experience the participants had on 1st June, 2023 at Ebonylife Place at Victoria Island, Lagos will linger in their memories for long.
It was at the Africa Travel Content Creators Conference, the first of its kind gathering on the continent providing a platform for Africa travel content creators to connect, collaborate and learn from each other.
The invited participants are those that really matters while all the attendees are exposed to various activities and sessions that surely enhanced their creativity, sharpened their storytelling skills and provided opportunities for networking.
The speakers with their explosive and educative presentations turned the hall to an eciting lecture room. They imparted knowledge in all the participants and it was an amazing event that further opened their eyes on how to be more creative as content creators.
Among the noble speakers at the event are: Amb. Ikechi Uko – Organizer of Akwaaba African Travel Market – West Africa’s first international travel fair, Publisher of Africa Travel Quarterly Magazine/ATQnews and Organiser of Accra Weizo, a seamless travel event also held recently in Accra Ghana.
Pelu Awofeso – A foremost travel writer and publisher of TRAVU Magazine. Pelu is an Award winning journalist including CNN/Multichoice African Journalist Award.
Michael Runkel – He is the World’s 2nd most travelled person. An award winning travel photographer appearing in the New York Times, National Geographic Traveller, Condé Nast Traveler, Lonely Planet, Rough Guides, Penguin Books and more.
Clara Chinwe Okoro – Founder, My Beautiful Africa and organiser of Tourism & Technogy Conference.

The event was held in a very conducive and perfect environment. EbonyLife Place, the conference venue is a premier luxury resort for leisure, entertainment, and events.The beautiful edifice contains a boutique hotel, a cinema, and restaurants.
The lunch served all the participants at the event was sumptuous in various delicacies, all delegates ate and drank at the rooftop restaurant while the spectacular skyline views from the rooftop restaurant was also an avenue to the participants to showcase the beauties of Lagos as Travel content Creators by taking series of photographs from all angles on the rooftop.
It was an event well packaged by Mr. Jibola Oluseye of TASTE OF AFRICA VIBES and avenue for delegates to reunite with opportunity to brainstormed with many of the distinguished travel content creators.
Africa Travel Content Creators Conference 2023 was an event well-positioned which will surely change the narrative about Africa by sharing positive stories and showcasing the beauty of the continent.
