The Africa Youth in Tourism Innovation Summit (AYTIS) & Challenge hosted by Africa Tourism Partners in collaboration with UN Tourism and BDO has announced the Top 20 Finalists of the 7th Africa Youth in Tourism Innovation Summit (AYTIS) & Challenge.

These exceptional young talents whose innovative projects stood out amongst a highly competitive pool of applicants are set to showcase their solutions at the AYTIS 2025 Summit in Johannesburg.

The finalists embody the spirit of innovation and entrepreneurship that AYTIS champion.

The Top 20 finalists and emerging innovators for the 7th Africa Youth in Tourism Innovation Challenge (AYITIS) will now enter the AYITS Innovation Challenge Bootcamp, where they will refine their business ideas through expert mentorship, hands-on training, and strategic development.

Following the bootcamp, a panel of judges will select the Top 5 ventures to pitch at the AYITS Innovation Summit holding 24 – 27 June, 2025 in Johannesburg.

In Johannesburg, the finalists will compete for top honours, including funding, recognition, and support to scale their solutions.

Africa Youth in Tourism in Innovation Summit & Challenge is the “one and only” pan-African Youth and start-ups in Tourism Summit and innovation challenge in tourism on the continent.

This competition invites and welcomes innovative ideas and solutions that goes beyond technology but are travel, tourism and MICE industry related projects for review and adjudication by a preeminent panel of industry leaders.
