A new chapter in global hospitality leadership development has been launched as Boulevard Hotel Group and Excellence 24/7 formally announce a strategic collaboration aimed at strengthening the foundations of hospitality leadership across markets.

The initiative, titled The Hospitality Foundation, brings together two organizations with a shared belief: that sustainable guest excellence begins not with systems alone, but with confident, consistent, and human-centered leadership practiced daily on the hotel floor.

Founded in the United States by veteran hotel executive Bill Hurley, Excellence 24/7 has built a reputation for transforming leadership behavior into measurable, lived performance.

Leading the implementation of the collaboration is Medylaine Muturiki, Area Director Southern Africa for Boulevard Hotel Group.

With nearly two decades of experience in luxury hospitality, spa, and wellness consulting across Africa and emerging markets, Muturiki brings deep regional insight and operational fluency to the series.

The Hospitality Foundation series will focus on supervisors, managers, and frontline leaders the often-overlooked layer that shapes daily guest experience. Rather than one-off training sessions, the program emphasizes practical reflections, leadership habits, and culture-building moments that occur in housekeeping corridors, front desks, kitchens, and back-of-house operations.

Hurley noted that the collaboration reflects a shared philosophy between the two organizations.
