Alhaji (Chief) Salahudeen Qumaruadeen Adeniyi

The great Omo Ajorosun Club in Ibadan, has announced Alhaji (Chief) Salahudeen Qumaruadeen Adeniyi (Mogaji Okunronmu Compound, C2/234 Akano Oja’ba, Orita Merin, Ibadan), as the new President of the Club for the year 2026/2027.

The Club made the disclosure in a release by its Public Relations Officer, Tawfiq Tayo Akinwale.

According to him, “Alhaji Chief Salahudeen Adeniyi is a long-standing and committed member of the Club, having joined in 2008.

Over the years, he has served diligently in various capacities at both executive and committee levels.”

Akinwale continued, ” Salahudeen has contributed immensely to the growth and success of the Club.

“His previous position include : 1. Security Secretary (2011–2012),

2. ⁠Assistant General Secretary (2013–2014)

3. ⁠General Secretary (2015–2016, and again, 2020–2021),

4. ⁠Ex-officio Member (2022–2023).

“Alhaji (Chief) Salahudeen Adeniyi holds impressive academic qualifications: such as

Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma – Masters in Public Administration (MPA), 2002/2003;

University of Nigeria (NSUKKA), Enugu Campus – B.Sc. Accountancy; Islamic High School, Orita Bashorun, Ibadan – Secondary School Certificate.

“New President Salahudeen Adeniyi also has professional and entrepreneurial engagements.

“He has served both State and Local Governments in various capacities and is currently the Chairman/Managing Director of Salahudeen and Son’s Enterprises, as well as SALQUMAR International Investment.

“Presently, Salahudeen Adeniyi is the Chairman, Board of Directors, Mercy Finance Limited.

“In his new role as Omo Ajorosun Club President, Alhaji Chief Salahudeen Adeniyi aims to build upon the club’s strong foundation and pursue initiatives that enhance its reputation, unity, and community impact. While his key programmes include intensive public advocacy of the club,

wealth creation through aggressive investment pursuits, membership growth and welfare,

sporting activities and competitions among members and other clubs, development of a befitting club secretariat and restructuring for efficient service delivery, beautification of the club house, continuation of existing programmes and

⁠Security of members and properties.”

“Finally, Alhaji Chief Salahudeen Adeniyi reaffirmed his commitment to promoting the vision of the Club’s founding fathers and fostering unity among members.

“He also expressed gratitude for the trust reposed in him and pledged to work tirelessly to sustain the Club’s enviable image in Ibadan land and beyond”, Akinwale said.
