Executive Secretary of NCPC, Bishop Stephen Adegbite

The Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission, NCPC Bishop Prof. Stephen Adegbite, has extended warm felicitations to the Muslim faithful worldwide on the occasion of Eid-al-Adha.

In his Sallah message, Bishop Adegbite noted that the willingness of Prophet Ibrahim to sacrifice his son in obedience to God, and God’s provision of a ram in his place, exemplifies total submission, trust, and obedience to the Almighty.

He stated that Eid-al-Adha is a time for reflection, seeking forgiveness, strengthening family ties, and renewing one’s commitment to faith and service to humanity.

He urged Muslims to use the celebration to express gratitude to God and extend the hands of fellowship to others.

Bishop Adegbite also called on Nigerians to have faith in the administration of His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and to support the Renewed Hope Agenda of the Federal Government.

He further charged the Muslim Ummah to continue praying for peace, unity, and prosperity in Nigeria as the country prepares for the 2027 general elections.

Expressing optimism, he said “Nigeria would overcome its current economic challenges and that the menace of insecurity would be curtailed in affected communities” “With prayers and with God, all things are possible,” he said.

The NCPC boss wished the Muslim faithful a peaceful celebration, and prayed for God’s guidance and protection upon all.
