
President, Federation of Tourism Associations of Nigeria (FTAN), Mr Nkereuwem Onung
The newly elected President of Federation of Tourism Associations of Nigeria (FTAN), Mr Nkereuwem Onung has sent his salah felicitation to the Muslims faithful in Nigeria and the world as they celebrate the 2021 Eid-el-Kabir.
In a statement signed by Onung on Monday, July 19, 2021, reads: I wish to use this medium to felicitate with our Muslim Brothers and Sisters as we mark this year’s Eld-el-Kabir, which provides an opportunity for friends and families to reunite, celebrate and exchange gifts.
“As you join the rest of the world to observe the annual event, let’s see it as an opportunity to promote the tourism industry by visiting our tourism sites and hospitality facilities among other leisure centres across the country with the conscious spirit of promoting the tourism pride of Nigeria.
“As you celebrate this memorable day, I enjoined you to reflect on the ideas, lessons and purpose of the Eid-el-Kabir through selfless sacrifice, perseverance and tolerance.”
The new FTAN President called on all and sundry to thank God for another opportunity to reunite for the Eid-el-Kabir. He added that may almighty God answer their prayers and give them more years of celebrations.
“I call on all Nigerians to continue to support this administration as we build a nation that we all will be proud and benefit from.In his word “Your support to enable this administration succeeds is imperative, knowing that nation-building needs a collective effort.”
“And i will not end my message without calling on you all to also remember the less privileged among us not only during a celebration but always”
