The Tourism Industry Association of Canada’s (TIAC) 2021 Tourism Town Hall series launches on April 22nd in the Yukon, made possible through the collaboration with the Tourism Industry Association of the Yukon.
Local small and medium-sized business owners will have the opportunity to meet with TIAC, Destination Canada and tourism partners to better understand efforts being made on national tourism issues.
The Town Hall will allow tourism operators the opportunity to provide first-hand input on issues affecting their business and the tourism industry in the time of COVID, as well as provide feedback on government policy for the recovery and rebuilding of our sector.
The Town Halls also provide a front-line forum exposure for governments, TIAC, Destination Canada and event sponsors to collaborate with small and medium-sized tourism business operators.
The 2021 Virtual Tourism Town Halls will take place on the following dates: Yukon – Thursday, April 22; Manitoba – Tuesday, May 4; Prince Edward Island – Thursday, May 6; Newfoundland & Labrador – Monday, May 10; New Brunswick – Tuesday, May 11; Quebec – Tuesday, May 25; Alberta – Wednesday, May 26; British Columbia – Thursday, May 27; Ontario – Tuesday, June 1
Dates are subject to change, as well additional Tourism Town Hall locations may be added at a later date.
